MICHIGAN AND GEORGIA

Local Communities

NuBerry Farms is dedicated to supporting and
nurturing the communities in which we operate.

Michigan – Migrant Education – Harvest of Hope

In Michigan, we focus on Migrant Education
Programs, such as the NOMAD Project. Since 1968,
the Van Buren Intermediate School District has been
ensuring that students have the tools and support to
graduate with a high school diploma (or HSED). The
program achieves it goals as students prepare for
further education, become engaged members of their
communities, and secure long-term employment.

Georgia

Sharing our passion for what we do, our Georgia
Farms offer tours for students in local schools and
4H clubs. Our goal is ensuring future generations
know where their food comes from and potentially
inspire students to pursue farming as a career.

BUSY BEES

Our Bees

Blueberries and blackberries need bees to pollinate the plants. We have beekeepers on staff to keep our bees happy and healthy, ensuring the best crop yields possible each year. We plant and maintain bee-friendly habitats for our bees and other pollinators near our farms. Our bees spend their winters on a special farm in Georgia with spring vacations in the almond orchards of California.
